John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris was born in 1903 and lived in Brimigham, England. Wyndham tried many occupations before professional writing. John tried to have a career in law, farming, commercial art and advertisement. All of these failed. John began writing short stories in 1925. He sold to the American market in the 1930’s.
