Bill of rights guarantee equal protection against unfair treatment to everyone and that include homosexual. In actual practice, however, some groups of citizens have been denied equal treatment and protection that might provide shelter from discrimination for aspects in life that one cannot change such as age, gender, and race. In America everybody deserves equal treatment by virtue of being citizens, denying the rights of one group means that any group can be discriminated against.
