The History of Parliament
Parliament is the supreme law making body of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Every country in Britain conducts a parliament except Whales. Parliament was a descendent of the Great Council. In 1707 the Union of Parliaments brought all the countries together. The Houses of Parliament met in London in a place known as The Palace of West Minister.
