In conclusion, Sitting Bull was not a warrior but a peacemaker; but due to the white man’s indiscretions and violations of peace treaties Sitting Bull was forced into wars with the whites. This was for protection and survival of his people. All that Sitting Bull sacrificed and forfeited was for the benefit of the Sioux nation, and he will forever be remembered.
