Also by reading this selection one is much more likely to agree with the statement given by Atwood, “freedom isn’t the same for girls.” As this selection actually helps to outline the responsibilities in which girls are left with and better allow one to see how girls are restricted by boundaries and stereotypes placed upon them by a society, which can be said to prioritize male interests.
