Although England tried to control and dominate its colonies, they couldn’t. America changed English ideas such as religion, politics, economy, and social structure to create their own unique, yet somewhat similar culture. No matter how hard the English tried they couldn’t hold America down from fulfilling it potential to become the strongest and most powerful nation in the world.
